Have you heard of ‘BetaVote‘? A site that lets the “whole world” vote on the US Presidential election. I just visited that site and dropped in my vote for “W”.
And was on the losing side, of course.
Most of the countries had Bush behind by well over 60%. That’s amazing to me. I wonder how the numbers fall that way when their leaders are over here with their hands out every few days. Then I figued out that you can vote as many times as you like AND you can vote as if you are from any country you wish. (Can you say “BOTS AT WORK”?)
In fact, only two countries on the face of the globe voted for Bush – Niger and Liechtenstein. If Bush carries the election, I purpose that the entire 2006 foriegn aid budget be divided between only these two countries, as a little ‘Thank You’. No one else gets one thin dime. And tell them we’re basing our decision entirely on ‘BetaVote’ results.
Can’t you just hear the whailing and gnashing of teeth?
