Well, one thing can be said for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s always thinking of the future. Another thing about the guy: he doesn’t often say anything until he’s actually thought about it. This has the advantage of making him correct in his statements more often than not. In his latest well publicized statement I find myself in total agreement with the guy once again.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger suggested in an interview with Germany’s Sueddeutsche Zeitung daily , published Saturday, that the Republican Party should move “a little to the left” on social issues such as gay rights and the environment. A shift that he he was quoted as saying, “This would immediately give the party 5 percent more votes without its losing anything elsewhere.” While I agree with that shift in policy on those topics, IMHO, the gain would be closer to 10-15%.
Perhaps the Governor *is* more Conservative than The Bull, eh?
Come on, let me read YOUR opinion! Comment on this post, and while you’re at it, let me know about what you think about the drive for an Amendment that would allow to run for President. I’ve already spoken my mind on the topic. What’s yours?
