CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — A convicted sex offender wanted for allegedly kidnapping an 11-year-old boy from his school in Florida was arrested Sunday, two days after the boy was found safe.
Frederick Fretz, 42, was arrested after police received a tip that a man resembling him was hitchhiking near Interstate 75 in Cartersville, about 40 miles north of Atlanta.
He was being held at the Bartow County Jail, police said. Authorities in Marion County, Fla., said they had issued two warrants against Fretz, one for violation of parole and another for failure to register as a sex offender, a felony. There was also a federal warrant issued for kidnapping. Authorities said he would be extradited to Florida within the next few days.>/p>
Well, there ya go… “Arrested”.
Arrested is good for stealing. For kidnapping and child molestation you’d think that we could do better. But, I suppose the police have their rules and Mr. Fretz should consider himself lucky that the tipster was either unarmed at the time, or a bleeding-heart. at any rate, we can still hope for the scumbag to be placed in “General Population”. I understand his kind is welcomed there with special ceremony, oft times requiring the use of broomhandles.
I wonder if Mr. Fretz studies Astronomy? Why? I’d like to ask him, in a couple of months, “Mr. Fretz, how’s ‘Uranus’?”
