Look here, America. See one of your native sons brought home as the Hero he is, and see his pride at being at the second Inauguration of his Commander-in-Chief.
(You can tell when Pop sends me good stuff. And though you can’t tell from where you’re sitting, this one hit me hard. It wasn’t all that long ago someone told me to expect to be in a chair like that myself. But I still had legs with which to fight against it. I would hope we get to see this Marine in Washington again one day, standing proudly once more. Perhaps as a Representative…)
Now, to all of you bleeding heart, whimpering ass, Lefty Liberal, psudo-Communist:
The next time you want to post a story on the broken spirit of America’s troops, the next time you want to protest war while here in a country where Freedom is expected, look back at this post and at this picture.
~See here why America has - and will continue to - remained Free.
~Look into the eyes of a man that can not be broken.
~Look into those eyes and see the Pride, Power, and Grace of a United States Marine.
Look in his eyes, you whimpering bastards, and be ashamed!

The Marine Corps defends each and every American’s right to protest and voice their opinion.
America is what the Americans make it. Now stop being a child.
My guess is that I’ve got more time in the chow hall line than you have in the Marine Corps.
As for if I besmirch the honor of the Corps, you’ll find a different view from the Marines that regularly read - and post on - this blog. They know where my heart is. They know how I honor them.
My honor? No words from someone afraid to post even their name can even begin to touch that!
The one correct statement you made in that wee diatribe was - and I quote - “The Marine Corps defends each and every American’s right to protest and voice their opinion.”
Hmm… That’s exactly what I’ve done in this post. Bite me.
I am also the father of a son, a daughter and a grandson and would do the same as you say for my Country. But your statement that the Corporal “Knew the deal when he signed on the doted line” is a little hard to take from from a retired Marine GySgt. This Marine is showing his pride in his Corps and his Country and that he is still a Marine. I say Semper Fi Corporal you did an outstanding job and you bring honor to the Corps and yourself.
