My guess is that I’ve got more time in the chow hall line than you have in the Marine Corps.
As for if I besmirch the honor of the Corps, you’ll find a different view from the Marines that regularly read – and post on – this blog. They know where my heart is. They know how I honor them.
My honor? No words from someone afraid to post even their name can even begin to touch that!

I am also the father of a son, a daughter and a grandson and would do the same as you say for my Country. But your statement that the Corporal “Knew the deal when he signed on the doted line” is a little hard to take from from a retired Marine GySgt. This Marine is showing his pride in his Corps and his Country and that he is still a Marine. I say Semper Fi Corporal you did an outstanding job and you bring honor to the Corps and yourself.
