11:42PM – I’m awake. Went to bed nearly three hours ago and fell asleep after the usual relaxing conversation with Lady Beth. Apparently I hit REM sleep quickly because dreams woke me in a cold sweat. (I hate it when that happens.) The dreams concerned speaking with my Grandpa Homer, my Dad, and my brother Dan – all of whom have long since crossed the Veil. Now there is no sleep left in me even though I’m very tired.
Too many thoughts are running through my brain. There are so many things that need to be done around the Homestead and in the house. Then come all the “fun” projects I want to do to make things prettier for Lady Beth and all the Wee Ones. Like planting flowers, putting up a flag pole, adding funtional storm shutters, painting, and adding a little filligree around the tops of the front porch post.
Damned spine.
Then there are the upsetting personal goals I’d like to attain, (the largest of those being to write another manuscript), that I never can seem to get started.
Bah!

The House of Representatives has passed legislation that would make it a felony to be in the U.S. illegally…
Er… Am I missing something? We’re passing a law to make unlawful entry to the U.S. a crime. Well, a more serious crime.
Now, don’t get me wrong. We desperately need tighter control of our borders. Thing is, the laws are already there! All that needs to be done is to strictly and forcefully enforce those laws. Border Patrol just needs to litter the border with the bodies of the first twenty or so Wetbacks that zip over the line and leave them where they fall.
Afterall, buzzards have got to eat just like the rest of us.
I’ve got no issue with the LEGAL entry into this Country of anyone willing to be a loyal and productive member of our Nation. That is what built the United States. The simple fact is that we can’t take everyone and we MUST be more careful in these days of terrorism threats.
Besides, the real answer is for the Mexicans to straighten out their own country, not drag the problems of Mexico up here.

Yeah, I know. He’s dead. He died at the age of 14 after winning the 2003, 2004, and the 2005 “Ugliest Dog’ contest.
The thing is, he looked like he was dead going into it! What made me blog this is seeing this year’s winner – Victoria, an Itatalian Grayhound – on the tube. Ugly? Yes. This ugly? Not even close!

A 12-year-old girl in California has been charged with battery following a playground game of dodgeball, reports the Associated Press.
The charges stem from one of the regular games of Wall Ball at Hermosa Elementary School in Alta Loma, Calif. Brittney Schneiders is accused of kicking a ball at an opposing player with braces, giving him a fat lip.
Five other students were also accused of battery stemming from the incident, but they opted to take probation. Brittney’s parents said they will fight the charges.
The case is set for trial in March.

I’ve been wanting a Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack ever since I first saw one. I found one on eBay for a great price, and having had a wonderful history there, I bought it out-right. You know, the famous “Buy It Now” button.
Wouldn’t you know it? I managed to purchase from a seller that, simply put, lies through his teeth. The seller in question is American Equipage. When I made my purchase on 18 Feb this guy listed 94 packs in stock. He gladly accepted my PayPal payment but no pack arrived. When I checked, he still had 94 listed but told me in an email he actually has NONE! What’s more, it took three emails to get the guy to even tell me when I could expect shipment. He stated that it would ship, (finally), on 10 March.
You guessed it. It hasn’t shipped.
So, a warning to all would-be eBay shoppers: Avoid American Equipage like the plague! You’ll have nothing but problems from this guy.
Yeah, he’s getting a piss-poor feedback from The Bull.

Over the last few days I’ve noticed that my status on the blogosphere has not been displaying. With a bit of time on my hands today I decided to find out why. Nothing wrong with my code at all! So I went to “The Truth Laid Bear” site in order to find my rating manually.
Wouldn’t you know it, the site is screwed up in some fasshion. Something to do with the mySQL server. Until they are up and running again, I suppose I’ll just be a “Non-Entity” within the Blogosphere…

Morons. Why people do the things they do completely escapes me.
Anyhoo, I suppose it has something to do with the Oscars being awarded and the popularity of Walk the Line. This week alone I’ve received two (2) flame-emails from would-be bandwidth thieves furious with me because they were caught, and stopped, from hot-linking the tribute photo of Johnny Cash at the bottom of my sidebar. Heck, one guy actually demanded that I apologize to him. Another demanded that I pull down this blog altogether. 
Not a chance!
I refer those would-be-thieves to The Rules #’s 1 & 5:
- Rule 1: This is my blog. Period. End of Report.
- Rule 5: Where there is Wisdom there is often Foolishness, and Foolishness is something I don’t tolerate very well. Get foolish around here and you will find your ass banned. If you think I can’t or won’t, read Rule 1.
Here’s the simple truth: You may steal my bandwidth, for a while. Sooner or later, though, I’ll catch you. Then I’ll do my level-best to make your web existance short and very sad.

This so-called Muslim rage shyte is entirely out of control and The Bull, for one, is getting pretty sick of it all. Day in and day out we are deluged with media stories of idiots out there in the sandbox are jumping up and down, killing and rampaging, and over what?

Then we’ve got this “al-Weirdo” calling for renewed attacks on the West, and now a Muslim student on the Chapel Hill campus driving a SUV through a crowd of students supposedly to “avenge the deaths of Muslims world-wide” What a pile of crap. With all of this going on, what does the Government of the United States do? They turn over control of many of our major ports to a company owned by a Muslim/Arab nation!
So what if we were to go on such rampages in order to “avenge the deaths of Americans world-wide“?
I can tell you. The United Nations, (who has so far remained in its usual “I see noth-ing!” Sgt. Shultz stance), would be all up on arms against us; the Muslims, (in their silly-assed loud mouthed way), would be marching in the streets and building suicide bomb-belts; the Hollywood morons would be preaching “tolerance”, and our very own Government would be drafting more gun-control laws in order to further dis-arm the population.
The Bull thinks that should the Muslims decide on more attacks on American soil then Americans should indeed rise up, armed to the teeth, and launch an all-out offensive against the Muslim world. As a Nation we learned many brutal lessons in the wars to secure this land and our Freedom. We learned that often the best way to stop an enemy is to adopt the most ugly of practices. I can’t help but wonder how quickly the towel-headed idiots would fold should we start once again bring out the tomahawk and the scalping knife. Perhaps what is needed is a bounty on Muslim scalps.
