Did you ever get to the point where you didn’t know whether to shyte or go blind?
I’m about at that point these days. That’s why I’ve not been posting. I’ve heard the speculation that I am sick again, or terribly unhappy, or some other felgercarb. For the record: The Bull is in pretty decent health all things considered. The Bull is happier than he has any right to be, both in his marriage and with Life in general. Hell, I’m even getting really stoked about shooting, and considering restarting my old habit of spending a minimum of one night each month under the stars for my Spiritual health.
No, it isn’t anything about my health or home that’s had me off the blog. Frankly, it’s the bloody news. No matter what good there is out there to be reported, no matter what the success - be it in battle with the Jihadist, or be it in the Gulf Coast reconstruction- you can be assured that it will be buried deep under all the garbage that can be found. That is what has me twisted. No more though! I may not know for sure whether to shyte or go blind, so The Bull will just close one eye and fart for ya.
So it is back to writing for me. On the blog, that is. My hand written Shooting Journal has maintained a rapid growth rate, ‘Tis only on line that I’ve been slack. Expect to see more shootin’ stuff, fiction stuff, memories, and camping thoughts. The Elections are coming soon enough, but for now I’m going to avoid writing on the news for a bit.
Omar the Bull, out.
