MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s Congress approved a bill Friday decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine and heroin for personal use — a measure sure to raise questions in Washington about Mexico’s commitment to the war on drugs.
The only remaining step was the signature of President Vicente Fox, whose office indicated he would sign it.
Raise questions? :-/
Do you mean to tell me that our “Elected Officials” have not known before now that Mexico not only does not support the war on drugs? It is The Bull’s sincere opinion that Mexico and its corrupt government are huge players for the drug cartels. Mexico has never made any serious attempt to stem the tide of illegal drugs. Mexico has continually encouraged illegals to cross the US border - even providing maps and water for the trip. Mexico’s answer to everything seems to be to turn a blind eye to its own internal problems and hold out one hand to the United States for handouts and hold out the other to whatever thugs might be wanting to send poison to our kids. (Makes one wonder what the Mexicans are doing to help on the war on terror, doesn’t it?) The fact is that Mexico’s government is as corrupt as they come and they are happy to let drugs, terrorist, what-have-you side right through their land in order to get to ours. As for the Mexican people, the Mexican government is glad to see the poor go to America. Saves them money for more corrupt uses.

What pisses The Bull off so bad is that despite these facts, We the People of the United States are made out as the bad guys! Illegals marching in our streets, displaying our flag upside down beneath the Mexican flag, burning Old Glory, and now - with the help of some Leftist Liberal nutters - rewriting the Star Spangled Banner to suit themselves and singing it in Spanish! Heck, now we have those illegals, along with the aforementioned Leftist Liberal nutters, threatening to bring on boycotts and to march in our cities demanding that we pretty much just hand over the country to them.
Right. Like they’ve done such a great job with that open sewer known as Mexico.
Where is our government in all of this? Where is the protection of Americans and American soil and sovereignty? Americans have the right to protest - illegals do NOT. Seems to me that this would be a good chance to round up several thousand of these sneaks and toss their butts back across the Rio Grande.
Pay attention to the actions of your elected officials in this matter, folks. Elections are coming up soon. I, for one, feel that it is time for leaders that don’t wet a finger to see which way the wind is blowing, but for leaders that understand that America must be secure on all her borders. It is time for the hard decisions and perhaps harsh actions. The time for talk and grand-standing is over. If We the People of the United States are to be safe, then actions must be taken. If our elected officials will not make those decisions and take those actions required, then we shall need to elect those men and women who can!
America is not - and shall never be - “North Mexico”.
The Bull, out. ![]()
