Now, going out and buying new clothes has to be near the top of my list of the World’s Worst Tortures. I simply detest the mere thought of shopping for something as mundane as clothes! A couple of pair of shorts, a few odd T-shirts, a skirt or kilt, and a pair of boots, and I’m good. Heck, I’ve been known to wear the same Teva sandles for over a decade.
Undies are optional.
Imagine my surprise then when I was required to go get replacement clothes yesterday and discovered probably the best-fitting, best-feeling clothes of all time! I picked up two pair of Columbia shorts and two Magellan fishing shirts. The shorts are as comfy as my well worn Cabela’s Trail shorts right off the hanger. The shirts… Well, there is just no words for the comfort of these shirts! The weight is practically non-exisitant and the vents in the back allow for considerable air flow – a huge plus in the tropical heat and humidity of Mobile, Alabama.
No new boots this time. Still got several years of wear left in my Merrels.
Bull, out!
