In that post, (October 4th, 2005), I mentioned that I was dismayed to find that seven (7) registered Sex Offenders “live within walking distance of our home, though not in our immediate neighborhood”. I’ve kept my eyes open and watched for these scum in our neighborhood. While I have spotted them out on the main highway and at the local market, I have not spotted any of them in our neighborhood. Just as well for them, and for me I suppose. After reading many news articles of late concerning these sub-human scum and what society must do with them I decided to make another run over the Alabama Dept. of Public Safety Community Info Center and see if there was any change in the numbers.
Yep. To the bad side. Sadly, I’ve got to add three more within an easy walk of our home. Here are the slimy filth for your edification:
We have to start with Karen Ann Baldwin, DOB: 10/14/1963. Convicted of Sodomy 1st. This bitch committed this horrid act upon a six year old little girl.
Second is Dustin Wayne James, DOB: 7/21/1985. This ‘thing’ was also convicted of Sodomy 1st. Further details were withheld on the ADPS website. AS of this posting I’ve not been able to dig up anything else, but I will!
The third, (and I hope ‘final’), new addition to our list is an import from Dekalb Co. Georgia. Meet Russell Neal Jones, DOB: 8/27/1960. While in Georgia this pervert was convicted of Sexual Abuse 1st degree – on a three year old girl! Geez, I hope the other thugs in prison had a good time with this P.O.S.
Folks, this brings the number of Registered Sex Offenders within an easy walk of my home to ten (10)! That is up from seven since October 2005. By “easy walk” I mean getting from their front door to ours within 20 minutes of casual strolling. The total listed for our Zip Code is fifteen (15). That is scary! As I stated in my previous article, our neighborhood is as quiet and safe as any neighborhood can be in this age. We are not in the city, but are in a rather nice suburb of Mobile, AL. If it can be so here, it can be the same where you are living as well.
What about where you live?
Contact you local Sheriff’s Office for a listing of Offenders in your Zip Code. This is Public Record, meaning the info is yours for th asking. Make use of it! Many States have this information on a website in order to make the search simple for the general public. Look to your State’s website under “Public Safety” for starters. If a search option is availible, search for “sex offenders”. That should bring up all you need. Alabama, and many other States, have well designed registries that allow for easy printing of the offeders photo and information. Some will also have a link to MapQuest on each listing so you can search within your Zip Code and then use the mapping function in order to determine just how close these creatures are living toy you and your family members.
Folks, our elected leaders are dropping the ball when it comes to protecting us, and especially our kids, from these preditors. Officials always have some new gimmick, but sadly they are always a day late and a dollar short. One of the latest is the proposed system of using GPS ankle bracelets to track these pervs 24 & 7. At our expense, of course. While these GPS devices will indeed make it possible to know exactly where a particular pervert is at any given time, it will not tell you what he is doing in that location. Said pervert may be shown hanging out at the corner of ‘Elm St.’ and ‘Oak Ln.’, for example. If this corner isn’t near a school, a park, or other area where child molesters are forbidden by parole rules, then the agent watching the screen has nothing to report. There is nothing on the agent’s computer screen that will tell him that the perv is raping ‘Lil’ Jimmy’ behind the dumpster at the corner of ‘Elm St.’ and ‘Oak Ln.’.
There are only two ways to stop a sexual preditor from ever reoffending:
- Lock him/her up and throw away the key, or…
- Make such offenses punishable by death – and make it stick!
I recently read where Jack King, a spokesman for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, made the statement that the recidivism rate among sex offenders is approximately 7 percent. Meanwhile, the Center for Recidivism Management at the Justice Department says underestimating, or underreporting, is higher in crimes of sexual violence than general criminal violence. Personally, I think 7 percent is too damned high, especially with over 250,000 registered perverts on the loose! Looks like in the long run it will again be up to the citizens to handle this situation, as usual. Let me reprint here what I posted back October of last year. It still makes good sense today.
Check those registries! Check them regularly and often. Then call your local Sheriff and make sure the info on the site is up-to-date. Another good idea is to scout the addresses and see if the people living at the address are indeed the people listed on the registry. If they are, and if they are in your neighborhood, don’t go and get yourself arrested for something stupid like attacking them! Be smart! There are things you can do legally to protect yourself and your family, and even your neighbors.
- Print out the registry page with their photo on it, make many copies, and post them everywhere possible in the neighborhood. Every utility pole should be covered. Place signs along the road. Go door-to-door with handouts. Make sure everyone knows who they are and what they did. Drive the perverts out of your neighborhood by letting them know that they will find no easy prey!
- Buy a gun and learn how to properly and safely use and store it. Don’t like handguns? No problem, get a shotgun. The shotgun would be a better choice for the lesser experienced shooter and is a guaranteed “Attack Stopper”. Ask your trainer about quality ammunition for protection. Practice often.
- Get a dog, too. A big dog that tends to “nanny�? children. I recommend Great Danes (we have two that guard our home and children), but Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, and Bouvier des Flandres will do quite nicely. All are children-friendly and protective of their families, especially if trained. Training is cheap, there is no excuse in not doing it.
You put your kids in car seats and buckle them in, don’t you? If you would take the time to do that to protect your children from car accidents, would you not take the time to protect them from the preditors walking our streets? The simple fact that there are so many of these creatures living among us proves that our Government – at every level – can not, or will not, protect us and our children. Police are useless until after the damage is done.
It is up to you – the parent. Are you ready?

I’ve oft wondered what turns people into perverts. The only plausible explanation is that they are mentally (and probably physically) deficient and simply can not manage to ‘connect’ romantically or sexually with adults and therefore take out their frustrations on the smallest and weakest society has to offer. No matter. They must be completely removed from the gene pool.

What issues I have with ” the Moslem“, as you so quaintly spell it, goes as far as they as a Faith refuse to police themselves of the radical elements. I also hold the Democrats responsible for the same thing, (i.e. the radical Liberal elements). Having loved and been loved by Japanese, Russians and American Indian women – as well as being of German, Scot, and Irish blood – I’d be rather hypocritical to claim some issue with them in general. Frankly, you’ll not find any hate speech on this blog of the type you describe or otherwise and have labeled yourself better by claiming so than anything I could have written.

Also, if you had really read this blog you’d know that I worked at a halfway house in South Carolina for youthful sex offenders as a Team Leader/Councilor where I learned all about the sick and twisted workings of the pervert mind. No, I was never assaulted myself, nor have my children.

He is both a military and local police officer, (and a regular reader of The Bull Speaks!), and finds that statements like that – and tracking IP’s very interesting.
