Some little housekeeping notes:
First, I have added a page concerning a matter most will no interest in UNLESS you are a student of Naval history. It concerns the 1967 fire onboard the USS Thomas A. Edison (SSBN 610). There was once a page elsewhere on the web that kept the stories alive of the brave crews of our early ballistic missile submarines, but it has since died. I am taking up the cause on behalf of the “41 for Freedom” so that they may not be forgotten!
Secondly, I hate spam. Badly. However, I have to admit that “Akismit” has done a remarkable job. Since installed it has killed nearly 18,000 spam comments that tried to pollute this blog. That is something I can love.
