DARLINGTON, S.C �?? A jury has found a convicted sex offender accused of raping two teen girls in an underground bunker not guilty of kidnapping, sex crimes and assault with intent to kill.
Kenneth Glenn Hinson, 48, wiped his eyes and mouth and appeared to cry after the jury read its verdict, which followed about four hours of deliberations over two days.
“I think the verdict says it all,” he said as he was escorted from the courtroom.
Yes, the verdict did say it all! It plainly said that Justice failed.
Damn me if today I’m not ashamed of my home State of South Carolina! Here is this Hinson character, a convicted sex offender and a doper. It seems to me that a fine opportunity was there to put away a crazed monster of a sub-human for life. Wasted.
Well, there is still hope that the fathers, brothers, uncles, and friends of the girls involved will bring this bastard to Justice.
