When will someone throw a lariat around that dottering old fool Jimmy Carter?

The Bull read of Carter’s latest embarrassing move on Fox News this morning. Seems the wreck of a man got into a public shouting match with the Sudanese Security Forces assigned to protect him over in the Sudan because they would not let him wander off into a “highly volatile pro-Sudanese government town“.
It occurs to me that it might have been better all around if the security forces had let the senile old fool just go on his merry way - never to be seen again. At least in one piece. Then we would be shed of one major embarrassment to our Nation - and - his loss, (being an ex-President and all), would have forced the attention of the World to turn to that war-torn area. Instead, the security detail did their duty admirably. Despite the rambling threats from Carter to run and tell on them. Here’s the quote:
“We’re going to anyway,” an angry Carter retorted to the security, telling them they didn’t have the authority to stop him. There was no physical altercation.
As a growing crowd gathered around the former president, Carter’s U.S. security detail and his African Union escort tried to ease tensions. Carter later agreed to a compromise by which tribal representatives would be brought to him at another location later Wednesday.
“I’ll tell President Bashir about this,” Carter said, referring to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
Can you believe this?
You simply can’t make this stuff up!
For America’s sake, Jimmy, come on home - and stay here!
Bull, out! ![]()
