The Bull’s home of Mobile, AL will be home to the companies that have been awarded the Air Force contract for a new air-tanker to replace 179 KC-135 Stratotankers, made by Boeing, which have been in service for more than 50 years.

The new KC-30, built by Northrop Grumman and the Paris-based maker of Airbus, European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co., beat out Boeing Co. to win the $35 billion+ government contract.
Their proposed facility will be only the third assembly type operation of its kind in the world. The plant will be located in the old WWII airbase of Brookley Field and would hire about 2,500 workers, with starting salaries of around $42,000 per year.
More good news for Mobile!
Bull, out!
