Tim Russert | The Bull Speaks!

Washington, D.C. – The news world was stunned yesterday by the sudden death of Tim Russert, the hard-hitting moderator of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” at age 58 of a heart attack.

The Bull would like to forward his condolences to the Russert Family and the NBC news team.

Tim Russert was indeed a hard-hitting moderator. However, I’ve got to tell you that he was as biased as the rest of the media towards the Liberal view. Far too often I’ve said that I wished that the Conservatives could come up with someone only half as effective.

Bull, out.

I think you have to understand that many liberals bash him, because his questions to them seem to be conservative talking points, and that he throws softball questions to Republicans. I think people’s judgment on the concept of “bias” is skewed. He wasn’t perfect; nobody was. But being unbiased means you ask direct questions a liberal would ask to a conservative, and vice versa. If it makes a Republican look bad, they whine. If it makes a Democrat look bad, they whine. That’s what made him good.
