I think I have made mention before of Lady Beth’s near-obsession with Bearded Dragons. Of all of the reptiles, arachnids, birds and various ‘fuzzies’ that come through our Exotic Animal Rescue, none have caught her heart like the Bearded Dragons.
You can only imagine her delight when a pair of our Dragons began laying fertile eggs some 50+ days ago. As is usual, some of the eggs collapsed and died, but still a fair few seemed to be doing well. On the 8th the eggs began to hatch and as of this posting we have seven brand-new baby Beardies running around in a tank next to our bed. They are the most entertaining creatures around! Either as the excited young or in their more stoic adult forms, nothing beats a Bearded Dragon as an exotic pet. Here, take a look at a couple of our new babies…

Eventually these little carnivorous dragonettes will grow into 12 to 14 inch veggie-eating Dragons that look like this:

Nice, huh?
Bull, out.
