It is bound to happen from time-to-time. A fellow gets involved in a high(er) tech stuff than he is used to working with and then something goes wrong. It finally happened to me, but it took over four years so I’m better off than most.
The good news is that I have saved, with the help of my great server folks at Verve, everything up to January of this year. The bad news: Everything after that date is toast, with the exception of a couple of things I had saved here on my home computer. All comments after January ‘09 are gone.
I had been making my own backups every three months or so, but wouldn’t you know it – my last couple were a corrupted mess. Now I’ll be using an automatic system to WEEKLY back up this blog. Lesson learned.
Not everything here has been rebuilt yet. Pardon the error messages for the short term as things get put back in place.
Bull, out.
