Carnival | The Bull Speaks!

Our Fearless Leader, c.a. marks, is hosting the ‘Alabama Bloggers Carnival, Better late than Never Edition‘ over at her site, Alabama Improper. (That blog is always a “proper” read, by the way…)

This time around we have submissions from:

… as well as a couple of light postings from your very own Bull.

Now, get your buns on the move, Cheeseburger! You’ve got some reading to do!

Since hearing that the Carnival was coming back I was determined to write something new for publication in it. But what?

Something about the War? Good, but didn’t feel right.

Something about Politics? Oh my Gods, NO! There is going to be plenty of that in the very near future on my blog.

‘Bout Mobile, AL? After all, we have a lot of great things happening around here – and our share of scandal to boot. Hmmm…. Later.

Humor? Scumbag criminals? Silly animal stories? No. No. No.

Family.

That will work! I can write about that at any time! It’s my favorite topic. It is a topic terribly important to our survival as a species. The subject is full of dangers, heartache, anger, humor, shame, and pride. Why, by just looking around your house you can write non-stop!

I’ll start by looking back to my memories of Family… My immediate Family growing up exploded when I was nine years old. Divorce. Sucks for kids and doesn’t do adults much good either. After that, it was the extended family that was the focus of my life. Especially my grandparents. Two full sets and polar opposites in nearly every respect. One set were rather wealthy and pillars of the community and one of the founding families of our town. The other set were simple mountain folk. Tilling soil, trapping, cutting dogwood, and running a little ’shine here-and-there to get by. I guess you could say I had a broad spectrum of role models. These tow Families could not have been more different!

One thing was driven home by all involved though – Duty to Family. Loyalty. Be proud of your Family! Sure, fighting in the Family is going to happen. Get it out and solve the issue. It only will make the Family stronger in the end. outside of that, you stick together. Everything – both good and bad – should be open for discussion and debate. Sweep nothing under the rug because later that lump will trip someone and a lot more pain will result. Rules to live by. And so I have.

Then there is the more recent end of Family experience… A beautiful wife and six – yes, six(6) – fine children. Here, take a look…

Christmas Eve 2007

Life just does not get better that when we are all together. Whether it is around the table at mealtimes or spread all over the living room watching a movie or the latest set of re-runs. Now, how many of you, Dear Readers, just asked yourselves if The Bull has lost his mind? Surely there are better things in life than that! Not if you’re doing it right, folks. Not if you’re doing it right! What could possibly be wrong with a Family getting together at a table for a meal? Nothing. What could be RIGHT with it? Conversation. Seeing each other closely. Remembering those that can not be there. The teaching of manners, (something rapidly disappearing in this Country). Passing on the concepts of sharing and helpfulness. And more. The same goes for our evenings. More often that not we can be found scattered about our living room. Some reading, some watching a show, some playing or dozing off while snuggled next to a Great Dane. Yet we are together. A great comfort comes from such simple closeness. Loyalty grows from it. So does Love.

Yes, The Bull finds Family to be important. Enough so that when I Googled this blog for the word “family” I found that I have mentioned it over 1,620 times in my 897 postings, (not counting this one). A damned high count even if I do say so myself. While I find it important, I will certainly not claim to be an expert or to have all the answers. Every extended family has within it itself certain levels and periods of discord. One such period in my extended Family has, blessedly, just ended. It went on for far too long, yet only because I had failed to confront it. Once I did, the problem was solved. As it turns out, even I need reminders from time-to-time…

The point to all of this, (outside of the fact of The Bull being fallible), it that when all is said and done you really have nothing in this life – except Family. They are your past, and your future. I can only hope that someone out there in the blogosphere gets the point of all of this.

Perhaps we all should take more time to be with, and understand, our Families.

Even me.

Well, due to circumstances controlled only by a vicious ex-wife The Carnival of the Gun is getting off to a late start. The Bull had to make the arduous journey to South Carolina to retrieve his son’s belongings and then get him enrolled in school here in Mobile. All is well now, and as they say: “On with the show!”

First up is a bit from Captain America of the blog “First In!“. The post is titled “A DAY AT THE RANGE“. Besides some nice pics from the Range there is one fine quote in this post: “A good day shooting is better than a good day golfing or fishing or whatever in my book. I have to get out more often.
Amen, Captain America! Amen!

On my end I offer a few thoughts on my favorite all-around centerfire cartridge in my post, “Shooting the Little 7mm“. Since the day Remington made the 7mm-08 a legit round I’ve dared not be without at least one. What a fine, go anywhere round!

It has been a while since Pop has sent into The Bull’s mailbox one of his ‘email goodies’. The following is one he sent just yesterday. Frankly, I like it! Go read!

Why The Gun In Civilization
By Marko Kloos

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force.

If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force.

The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single gay guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat, it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed.

People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level.

The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force.

It removes force from the equation and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.
***

Our Founding Fathers sure knew what they were doing when they gave the Bill of Rights sharp teeth with the 2nd Amendment. Bless them!

So ends the First Carnival of the Gun. Short and sweet, but I sincerely hope you liked it. Please, pass the word so that the next edition will begin to flesh out a bit. Just like at the Range: the more, the merrier!

Has it been that long? Dear me! Where has the time gone? I suppose when things get so crazy in The Pasture that it shouldn’t be too difficult for The Bull to lose track of Time. Seems when Life finally settles down I’ve been too tired to do much more than to snuggle up with Lady Beth an enter into the Realm of Morpheus until dawn. Tonight is different though. Dreams must wait until the reading is done and the Carnival is up for all of our dedicated Dear Readers. (Of course, the fact that my mutilated spine is simply killing me because of sitting in my chair and reading the seventh Harry Potter novel cover-to-cover doesn’t help in the sleep department either!) So, nothing for it but to slap on the headphones, crank up the volume, click on the play list starting with Dr. Hook’s Cover of the Rolling Stone and get busy, (provided that Karma, (my cat), will stay off the bleedin’ keyboard)!

First up tonight is ‘How Much Do You Appreciate Your Life?‘ from over at Cade Krueger’s blog called Write To Right Your Business Opportunity. First thing that caught my eye was the beautifully clean lines of this blog (my first visit). A wonderful theme! Then I got into the post and found it to be a perfectly smooth outline of the proper outlook towards wealth. Let me quote a bit here:

Now understand that money is an issue with me like anyone else, but I think we should set some guidelines. Wealth is always relative and it comes in many ways other than in green paper. Also many people have luxuries that millions would crave for, but yet somehow they are not satisfied and want more. They are not willing to share those luxuries with others willingly. These people are all over the world and they are not making only six and seven figure incomes. Everyone has this issue.

Brilliant! This post is going into my bookmarks and will become a ‘must read’ for The Bull’s entire Herd! No kidding. First thing tomorrow our morning Devotional will contain a reading of this post. The message really is that important, especially for all of our wee calves. Thanks, Cade!

Moving on across the Web we come to our next victim entry over at The Birthplace of the Process of Illogical Logic. Nicki’s post is titled ‘Welcome to the Rant-o-rama!‘.
Nicki, The Bull feels your pain!
The ‘Rant’ concerns a couple of topics, both of which piss me off too – just like waving a Soviet in front of a Bull! Spoilers: You know I hate ‘em! The good news, Nicki is that all of the spoilers I was thrown concerning the afore mentioned seventh Harry Potter novel were absolutely and totally wrong! Some folks will write anything for ratings. BTW: Nicki’s other bit of that rant gets my hooves to tearing turf as well. If the rest of you want to know what we’re talking about here, then go read the post! Rated ‘R’ due to language, but y’all should, (or perhaps, ’shouldn’t'), be here at ‘The Pasture’ when I see red. Moving on…

Our ‘Beloved Leader’, c.a. Marks of the blog Alabama Improper â„¢, sent a note with her post for this Carnival saying she would be sharing some old pictures with us in this carnival because she didn’t have anything else. Don’t fret, c.a.! The Bull hasn’t decided what to link to yet himself. The only thing I’ve written of late concerns my love affair with a particular rifle cartridge. Besides, having never met you in person I’m happy to see the photos! The post is titled ‘As Promised, Improper Pictures‘. With a title like that you’re hits should climb sharply, c.a.! When my eldest Spawn saw the baby picture she went ga-ga over it. (She desperately wants Lady Beth and me to produce yet more Spawn. We feel that six is enough for the moment.) I quote c.a. concerning one photo, “Farah Fawcett I was NOT!” Well, I say “Thank the Gods!”. I never could stand that skinny flake with the false smile. The Bull prefers real women. Go see them pics, folks! Our ‘Beloved Leader’ really was a very cute kid and, from what I hear, is even more fine today.

I just discovered that Scott Allan is on a rant this week just like Nicki. Something must be in the air – and I think I know what it is! All of us regular folk are getting sick and tired of all the crap that is being heaped on us by the truckload. over at Scott Allan’s World our contributer ask the simple question ‘Do I still have to take my shoes off?‘. Good question, Scott. As simple as it sounds to ask, I promise that the answer – should it ever come – will be highly complex. Yes, we are tired of the crap. If not from idiots that don’t know what they are talking or writing about, it’s the Government sending down yet another meaningless decree while totally disregarding the root of the problem. That ‘root’ being the Government itself. Imagine, a 19% approval rating. Disgusting.

Sniper One over at “7.62mm Justice” â„¢ has squeezed off yet another round with the posting titled ‘The House Forum For Iraqi Genocide‘. While not quite a rant, it is concerning a very hot topic that fires up rants day-in and day-out. Seems a letter from our Representatives to the President of the United States has been outed complete with the list of signatories. This letter, in The Bull’s not-so-humble opinion, is more of the same “let’s get out of Iraq and everything will be daisies and sunshine” horseshyte all too common coming from that not-so honorable body of thieves and traitors we call Congress. Get yourself over to “7.62mm Justice” â„¢ and read this letter and make note of both who did and who did not sign. Frankly speaking, I’m ticked that a House Member from Alabama signed this garbage.

Now we come to our longest post of the week from over at Degree of Madness. Mad Cow is also off onto politics this week. Something we are sure to see more of as every week passes, I think. The post is titled ‘A Blind and Tame Submission‘. This is a well written article concerning Presidential candidates, and one in particular. Who? I’ll not say! If I were to give it all away you wouldn’t go over there and read it yourself. Further, you’d miss out on a chance to become more educated in the realm of what I call our Freedom Documents. Understand that there is far more to these papers than just our beloved Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. Anyone willing to dig into these documents – in this case, The Federalist Papers – can count on having my ear. I may not agree with their argument in the end, but I will listen. You should too! Mad Cow has made a fair argument for his position. Go read it in its entirety, ponder the facts and go from there. If you take nothing else away you will at least have learned a bit more about the thoughts of one of our Founding Fathers. Always a good thing!

Before I add the last of our submissions for this issue of the Alabama Bloggers Carnival I wish to make an apology of sorts. Here we go…

~Begin Apology~
I know a host should be neutral in his/her work and not let his/her personal opinions shine through. Well, I’ve said it before, there is a really good reason that Roy called his son The Bull. When something hits close to Home I’ve never been able to keep my mouth shut. Never fear! I may be an opinionated, hard-headed, obnoxious Hillbilly (said with pride) with delusions of grandeur – but I’m fair! Just as every person has the Natural Right to worship as they choose, they may also hold whatever political opinion they wish with no editing or discarding by me.
~End Apology~

Now, if I’ve not pissed off the Readership too much, I offer the following from right here at The Bull Speaks!. If you read this blog even occasionally you can not help but have noticed my stance on pedophiles. The posts I offer are not new. They are placed here for you to read the comments left by readers – actual pro-pedophile people, and the pedophiles themselves, who think that raping kids is just fine. I’d not blame any one of you Dear Readers for not reading this stuff. These are some seriously sick twisted people. I’ll just post links below and let each of you make your own choice of how deep to go.

Joel Hazlett was banned from this site after his last comment which, to date, I have kept but not made public. To give just a sample of what he wrote to me: “You are trying to fight human DNA. It is a losing battle. Britney Spears was an American Sex Icon as a CHILD, not an adult. Her fame rocketted when she was only 15 years old. You see, most men in american think teenagers are sexy – that’s because it’s genetic to seek the most ideal physical mate for survival of the species. This transfers to homosexual behavior which is so common in nature, that it is actually prevalent in some species (70% of one type of bird mate in homosexual pairs). Think of it as a form of population control which can save the earth from global warming.
Kinda says it all for The Bull. Some folks should be removed from the gene pool – quickly!

~*~*~

Well, that ends what, I hope, was an interesting Alabama Bloggers Carnival – even if it did end on a rather depressing note. Please be sure to visit each of our contributors and leave some ‘comment love’. Us Bloggers love to write, but even more we love to be read! If The Bull isn’t banned for being so obnoxious perhaps our ‘Beloved Leader’ will see fit to send the carnival around here again sometime.

I have the Honor to Remain Your Most Devoted Servant,
Bull*

Welcome to Vol. 1 Issue 2 of Shooting Sunday. A blog carnival dedicated to the Shooting Sports and all the fun therein.

Seems I got the announcement out late and I have only my goodies to post so this should be simple. First off is my Review of the Ruger New Vaquero. This is a 20% smaller version of the ‘tank’ Vaquero based on the immensely strong Blackhawk frame.

Next is another story about a Ruger invention, but this one is a cartridge. The .204 Ruger. I purchased a T/C barrel for my existing Encore frame not expecting much but a fun, light recoiling, pest hunting round. Boy, was The Bull ever surprised! This thing is simply awesome in its performance. It is now chambered by most gun makers and is even available in an AR15 upper for those semi-auto lovers out there.

I’ll end this Carnival quickly with a post that shows exactly “why care must always be taken” at the range and especially at the reloading bench. This happened to an experienced shooter/reloader. It can happen to anyone that lets him/herself get distracted when pouring powder charges. Even more remarkable is that several times more people are injured or killed each year by shark attacks in the U.S. than by recreational shooters using reloaded ammo. That’s a danged good record in my not-so-humble opinion.

That’s it. Perhaps next weeks Shooting Sunday will be a little bit more varied.

Can you believe how fast this Alabama Bloggers thingy is takin’ off? Geez, I was stunned by the number of entries this week and more than a little proud that The Bull is once again hosting here at the Home Pasture. Welcome back, y’all!

Alabama.

She is a State that means many things to people, not just here but Nationwide. Both good things and just as many bad. The history of Alabama is rich and thick like a really good gumbo loaded with filet’. (That’s powdered Sassafras leaves used for thickening.) Oh, not everything is stuff to necessarily be proud of, like slavery for instance. I’ll guarantee you, though that even that topic is still a hot-button issue as Alabama ponders the meaning and results of apologizing for inequities of centuries ago here in this day and time.

Alabama has seen the discovery of Dauphin Island, a dark and bloody ground-turned-tourist haven once called ‘Massacre Island’ due to the number of human bones found there by the first settlers. Mobile, Alabama is the one true home of Mardi Gras in this nation, as folks here in my adopted home town will tell you in a real big hurry! This State was the home of the worst massacre of American citizens prior to Sept. 11th, 2001 with the Creek Indian attack on Fort Mims on August 30, 1813 and the brutal death of 250 to 400 settlers and militiamen. The Battle of Mobile Bay. Those of us old enough can recall other Alabama historical highlights. The Civil Rights Movement, Alabama’s contributions to the Space Race, the Tuskegee Airmen, and many more besides. If you’re a fan of television, in particularly the Discovery Channel’s ‘Deadliest Catch, then you might be interested to know that one of the starring fishing vessels, the 128 foot F/V Cornelia Marie, (Capt. Phil Harris), was build down here in Bayou La Batre’. Small world, ain’t it? (…and as a broke-down Navy puke I have to add “May God watch over all that go down to the Sea in ships” – especially those on the Bering Sea!)

I know what you’re thinking! ‘When will Bull shut up and move on to the Carnival?’ Well, I do tend to get long winded, but I like to tell stories and history is a passion of mine. Moreover, I’ve come to love Alabama nearly as much as the Blue Ridge Mountains of my childhood home. Forgive me if you will. The Bull has found it easier to ask forgiveness than permission over the near half-century I’ve roamed this good Earth.
Besides, a lot of this weeks Carnival is – in one way or another – about our home. Alabama!

Like I said, Alabama has her share of both good and bad. Our first contributor, (a newbie to our Carnival no less!), Leigh, of Key West or Bust, writes a short piece titled simply ‘Alabama’ where she fills us in on her thoughts on what she considers the good, the bad, and the ugly of this state. Leigh’s last line is this:

It’s not a bad place, but I really need a change.

The Bull wishes you well on your quest, Leigh! I’ve been in those shoes, and traveled far. Saw sights that left me awe-struck, too – but always there has been the call of home.

c.a.marks: Our fearless leader from Alabama Improper offers up not one, but two post for our perusal this week. Her first is titled ‘Demo Days’ and concerns one topic that The Bull is completely unequipped to speak about – Golf. Particularly golf clubs. Lady Cobra golf clubs. Now if we were talking about black powder, muzzleloading, long guns to fire golf balls I’d be right there with you! Well, those of you that follow that game should check it out as there are links to three or so Lady Cobra demo days. I can’t make heads or tails of it all…

Fortunately, c.a.marks comes back with something I can understand in ‘House Of Brews – Review’. Despite being a U.S. Navy veteran, I have never once let coffee pass my lips in this lifetime. (Oh, don’t worry – my sister, Taffney, makes up for any three people!) Blues, on the other hand is something I not only understand, but adore! The combination should be plenty interesting to most of our population. Sounds to me from her write-up that ‘Fearless Leader’ has pinned down a new hide-out in the House of Brews. Heck, if the music is as good as it is advertised The Bull may have to make the looong drive to Huntsville some weekend. Go read of her adventures there and of good great sounds and much coffee product. (Well, c.a.? A new ‘Improper Headquarters’?) If y’all are in the area of Huntsville go visit this joint and report back to me on the music.
You can ignore reporting on the coffee.

Along comes Scott himself from Scott Allan’s World. While his first entry this week has nothing in particular about the State of Alabama proper, it does concern one of the South’s most serious subjects: The 5 Second Rule.
If I’ve got to explain it then you are in desperate need of clicking over to Scott’s site and reading ‘5 second rule increased to 30 seconds’. You are also – very obviously – not from around here.
Funny the things we find important down here.

Scott also sends us a post one one of the topics near-and-dear to The Bull’s old heart. ‘What is amnesty?’ is a well thought out, well written post that makes much good common sense. Something sorely lacking in today’s U.S. Government I’m sad to say. Now that’s not to say I’m in total agreement with Scott on this topic. I drink no political party’s (or anyone else’s) Kool-Aid, but I know common sense when I hear it. (My biggest beef with the latest proposal in discussion is that it will become just another immigration law that will not be enforced. Just like all that came before it. I don’t like them trying to ‘backdoor’ a bill through on the citizens either! A shame on our Nation for refusing to secure her borders, and a pox on self-serving politicians and their houses!) Don’t listen to my bellowing. Go read this article! You will not regret doing so and you’ll be that much better informed.

While were on the topic of amnesty and immigration, Mad_Cow of Degree of Madness weighs in with the Daily Whip Notice in the post ‘Senate to debate immigration bill Monday’.
Pointed out in this post are the glaring holes in it. For instance locating the criminals, drug-runners, and potential terrorist that have walked through our ‘non-border’ to the South. Also noted is the lack of concern at securing the border at all. Mad_Cow did good. Go read it and get steamed. Getting pissed will do you, and the Country, some good!

I figure now is as good a time as any to throw out The Bull’s bellow for this weeks Carnival. I call the post ‘No Real Thought, Just My Gut Feeling’. Here at the Bull’s Pasture we’ve had a very busy month so far. We’ve got new furniture coming in for the calves, got the eldest calf working full time for the Summer, Lil’ Bull is coming down from South Carolina to spend a couple of months with the family, we had our first alligator come into the rescue and get released back into the wild within 12 hours (What a hoot!) and snakes-a-plenty, finally seem to have got the ‘Ex’ to see the wisdom of being honest with the Courts for a change, and Lady Beth is working every hour she can to make up for a huge loss to the monthly ‘Herd Income’. Even with all of that going on I try to get some bits of news. What I’ve been reading and hearing has not set well at all. This rush to the Presidential race is not a good thing for our Nation. These are dire times and this coming election is not one where we can afford to ‘experiment’, much less risk putting the wrong person – male or female – in the White House. Nor do we need the idiot of a certain past administration trying to maintain relevance by speaking out.

ALmod of The Alabama Moderate brings us back into our State in the post titled ‘Argo Serves Its Citizens’. The good folk of Argo are being served alright, but not in the way you might think. Here is something every citizen of every State should read – just as a ‘heads-up’. This is a short & sweet post, but has legs! The Birmingham Blues links to this post with The Argo Saga Continues…

Over on Between the Links we see the first post submitted by Dan. This one is called ‘One last word about the Beer Bill’. Ok. You’ve got my attention! Generally, I’m a non-drinker. Most beer is basically offensive to me. Simply because of the slack quality. Home-brewed and micro-brewed, well, that’s a different story! Dan gives us a taste of debate from the Alabama State House, via video, on legislation that would increase the alcohol content allowed to 14.9% ABV. The “Gourmet Beer Bill”. You see, Alabama limits the alcohol content of beer to 6% – one of only four states that do so. That means that we are denied one third of the World’s beer! No other alcohol product is so restricted. You need to go see and hear this video and the complete stupidity of the legislators. Ignorant fools…

Dan continues with ‘Sparks-hysteria’. The post concerns Jeff Vreeland of ‘Politics in Alabama’ who was quoted by Roll Call, a popular D.C. political newspaper. Vreeland discussed the possibility of Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks challenging Senator Jeff Sessions for his seat in 2008. I’m with Dan on this one. Sparks light will go out should he go against Jeff Sessions!

Dan further submits two further post to this weeks carnival in the forms of ‘Moving to Allen country’ and ‘So much for that’.

Finally, an offering from TD of the blog The Right Track. Very rarely does a post come along with such perfect timing. This post, ‘On Knowing When to Shut Up’, seems to be almost mystical in its timing. The Bull is also extremely impressed with TD’s control of dreamscape. I don’t think a wiffle bat would do it for me. I’d prefer a battle-axe, personally.
I’m not gonna give the storyline away any further. You’ll have to follow the link and read for yourself!

Well, midnight approaches and if The Bull is not in bed by the stroke of twelve he may not turn into a pumpkin (pronounced “punkin”), but Lady Beth will surely be unhappy. Something to be avoided at all cost! I hope I’ve not missed any links or trackbacks and most of all I do hope that you, Dear Reader, have enjoyed our time together here on the Alabama Bloggers Carnival for 21 May 2007. I know I’ve had a great time reading the submissions and telling tales. So, until next time we meet…

Keep your nose to the wind and an eye on you backtrail!

I have the Honor to Remain Your Most Humble Serv’t,
Bull.  End of Article
