Remember last month’s post about the Miss Universe contest and the winner, Dayana Mendoza? I recall saying that while the winner was very pretty I didn’t think she could hold a candle to last year’s winner from Japan. (I still hold to that statement, BTW…)
That’s right, there is now supposed to be a big “scandal” about Ms. Mendoza posing “semi-nude” or “topless“, and should she lose her crown or not.
Geez, folks! Gimme a break here! The Bull has seen the photos and they are hardly scandalous! The pics are so ‘non-racy’ that I’ll share one with you here and now:
Folks, I look at this photo and say: “Hmm…. That’s a very pretty woman. But she looks like she could use a hamburger or three.” The last thing I’d say is: “OMG! Pornography! Quick, Lady Beth, cover the children’s eyes!”
My 13 year old son, Jake, walked by just as I posted the photo. I asked his opinion and he said, “She’s kinda pretty. Skinny though…” and went on about his business. People, if a photo can’t hold the attention of a healthy 13 year old American male, it is not porn. These photos are nothing more than modeling shots and no worse than can be found in any women’s magazine.
Get over it, and yourselves, already. Leave Dayana Mendoza and her well-won crown alone.
Bull, out.
